Ular Design Studio was founded by Carolina and Leonor, two designers with complementary backgrounds and a shared conviction: every space should reflect the people who inhabit it and the purpose it serves.

We believe that interior design is not about imposing a style, but about understanding context, function, and daily life. Each project begins with listening, translating real needs into thoughtful, balanced environments where aesthetics and practicality coexist naturally.

Our work focuses on creating spaces that feel intentional, personal, and grounded in their surroundings. Whether residential or commercial, every project is approached with meticulous attention to proportion, materiality, and atmosphere.

With ongoing projects in Portugal and Luxembourg, these contexts shape our perspective and practice. We primarily work remotely, offering in-person support as needed, adapting to the specific realities and expectations of each market. We are always open to exploring projects in other locations and bringing our design approach to new contexts.

Carolina

Carolina believes that a space must have soul and purpose. With a Master’s degree in Product and Spatial Design from IADE and specialized training in Event Design, her approach merges conceptual clarity with technical rigor.

By bringing concepts to life through 3D visualization, Carolina is meticulously dedicated to every detail, from spatial organization to decorative atmosphere. The result is projects where aesthetics and function coexist organically, designed to create coherent, structured, and visually impactful solutions.

Leonor

Leonor believes in transforming abstract ideas into concrete and executable solutions. With a degree from the Faculty of Architecture (University of Lisbon), experience at Politecnico di Torino, and a Master’s in Product and Spatial Design from IADE, where she contributed as a researcher at UNIDCOM, her approach bridges conceptual thinking with practical application.

With a strong command of 3D modeling and bespoke furniture development, Leonor approaches every space with responsibility and commitment. Her creative curiosity drives a constant search for new materials and perspectives, ensuring that each concept translates into clear, functional, and meticulously resolved results.
